Project X-pired II
Project X pired II Banner 150712

Project X-pired is back! This time round it will be even bigger and more exciting! Project X-pired is an initiative to raise awareness of food wastage in Singapore. Instead of dumping expired food, The Food Bank Singapore collects them and collaborate with artists to convert them into art pieces for a fund raising auction.

This year, we are turning Project X-pired into a competition-based event where artists can join to showcase their talent. The competition will be divided into three categories – Junior, Student and Open. Participants will be given a frame where they are required to produce a 2D art piece using expired food items. Selected art pieces will be displayed during Project X-pired (10 & 11 October 2015) at City Square Mall, B1 Fountain Square, where it will be made available for auction. Half of the auction profits will be donated to The Food Bank Singapore while the rest goes to the artist.

Besides the art exhibition, there will also be performances by our beneficiaries, photobooth, food & beverage corner, mini-bazaar, as well as information booths on site.

A total of $10,000 worth of attractive prizes to be won! Be a part of this huge and meaningful event! Register here now! (Closing date: 12 Sept 2015)
